a good salad nicoise is worth its weight in ….. food ? gold ? oil paint ? it was a good one .then there was some very fine summer ale … he he he ….we are all watching rachel unthank … they are all amazing … voices ,cello, piano, accordion .. the mournful ballads are devastatingly beautiful … the fishing festival clog dance bit is lost on me a bit . sorry …now its our turn to play … we havent had much of a sound test check wires examination . ah well here goes . all the wires are correct . not enough pipe instruments in the ground speakers … eek ! not enough drum things either …. eek eek ! we’re gonna have to find our way in the dark . the old energy is there after all the months of separation . hooray . there are some youngish persons grooving at the front … there are some greying persons grooving at the back . all is yes . it feels good and loud . more people . good . very dark . good . we play short set of bang bang hit hit stuff . all the people shout hooray . good . we go and drink beer and smoke fags with rachel unthank ladies . night night .
